Energy charge (per unit)

Fixed / demand charge
Domestic bills charge a small per-kW fixed fee; commercial and industrial pay per-kVA of contract or recorded maximum demand.
Fuel Surcharge Adjustment (FSA)
Passes through fuel cost movement — usually paise per unit; approved by TSERC quarterly.
Statutory levies
Electricity duty and consumer welfare cess — set by the Government of Telangana.
